Hello,

anyone knows if the Toshiba Satellite A100-159 has a TEXAS INSTRUMENTS
fire-wire controller with no-shared IRQ?

Why not have a look in device manager and see what reources are used.

Hold down the 'Windows key' (between [Ctrl] and [Alt]) and press 'Pause'
(top right). Select Device Manager.

Ok! Good Idea
I'll follow your suggestion when I go to the toshiba dealer. It'
incredible but the pre-sales of Toshiba didn't know this feature.

Why would they? It's only been included in Windows for the last 11 years.
