I'm looking my company's shared, network drive, but want to keep the
index file on my computer, even if it's a large size. Is this possible?
When I select the network drive for indexing using the "custom drive" option,
it gives me an error sound when I click "Add." Would seem to indicate that
this can't be done, but it doesn't give any more detailed error info other
than a beep.
Thanks.

p.s. I did go through old strings related to this issue, but there's nothing
directly on this question.
