I bought a computer for parts off of ebay
and am trying to replace the motherboard.

my computer is Inspiron 8100 and so is the
ebay one.

power comes on and sounds like it's trying
to spin up but the screen doesn't power up
and I can't hear the hard drive working.

ideas?

You've done this in previous posts... Given insufficient information
for anyone to give you any type of educated assistance.

How is anyone supposed to know if "this used Motherboard compatible
with mine" if they can't see it and don't know anything about it?
