I just bought an ipaq rx1950 and am starting to regret it. After installing
all the updates, I still get a constant reminder to make Outlook my default
email client. Even with the PDA switched off, after about 5 minutes it turns
itself back on again, minimizes my windows no matter what I'm doing and
demands that I make Outlook my default email client and then tells me to use
Control Panel etc. The only way to make it stop is to switch off all the
applications (by using the memory manager, clicking the close buttons is not
enough).

How do I fix his or do I return this PDA to where I bought it from?

Hi,
Did you change the setting for the default e-mail client in Internet
Explorer (Tools - Internet Options - Programs) to another program? Did you
uncheck the option in the Outlook dialog box prompting you about the default
e-mail program to "Always perform this check when starting Microsoft Office
Outlook"?

ActiveSync uses Outlook to sync so it will prompt until this is set.
