Hi,

I have a certificate from my server.

I have prepared it by creating an XML file, and wrapping it into a CPF file.

I have copied it to my smartphone and run the file, but I instantly get a
message saying either:
Subject - 'Change of device settings unsuccesful' with no text
or same subject with text - 'Installation failed. The program or setting
cannot be installed because it is not digitally signed with a trusted
certificate.'

Surely, it IS a trusted certificate?

Any advice greatfuly appreciated!!

Cheers,

NEIL

Are you trying to instal the certificate on a Pocket PC or Smartphone? On
the Pocket PC you can copy the .cer file to your device, open File Explorer,
find the file and tap on it - this will install the certificate.

Copy it to your phone. Find it in File Manager and click it. Then, follow
the prompts.
