Suddenly my cradled iPaq isn't detecting my PC and vice versa. (Both
indicate that they are not connected.) Interestingly enough, I'm now
spontaneously getting "Could not connect--check settings" pop-ups on the iPaq-
-even when I didn't think I was trying to connect to anything!?!

I've never used a modem or bluetooth; only WiFi at home or through my PC
(while cradled) at work. Aparently my connections settings in the iPaq have
gotten messed up somehow, but I'm no sure how to fix them since I don't
have/use a modem. But in the meantime, I can't even sync!

Any ideas on how I might tweak my settings so I can get running again?

THANKS!!

(P.S. Yes, I've rebooted the computer and done a soft reset on the iPaq.)

OK, something I saw in another thread (that I thought was unrelated!)
triggered an idea. I popped out my SD card and tried again, and it synced
fine. I put the card back in and things are still fine. I don't have any
idea what's going on, but if somebody else has a similar problem this is a
good thing to try.

The outstanding question is, does this mean my SD card is going bad??
