My boss want's to try an iMac. I never have used a Mac so I'm a total
newbie. Are there any "Gotchas" in connecting an iMac to our Windows 2003
network? All my other workstations are Windows XP Pro.

She is wanting the http://www.apple.com/imac/ 20" 2.4GHz.

MacosX os a freebsd (free unix) based. So you won't have to install these
bad service for macos 8 & 9 on your server.

But you aren't still out of troubles:
samba may be slow to copy files
You may have issue with authentification (if you are strict in your gpo
(digital signing, ntlm V2 only...)
no GPO (ok she is the boss anyway)
You may have to enable imap4 to get her mail on the mac (or buy an outlook
for mac)
...You will tell us what i forgot ;)

The only GPO we have for WSUS.

Samba is for printing, yes? http://us4.samba.org

I'll get Office for the Mac.

I'm I correct that there is a "Windows" emulator in Mac OS X?
