SSI and CGI script problem.

I have the following problem: if I have a static html file:

which includes a line like this:

   <!--#include virtual="/SSI/Head.ssi" -->

the line properly replaced with the contents of Head.ssi. But when I
generate a page through a CGI script:

which also tries to include something through SSI, the generated page
simply contains the literal text "<!--#include virtual="/SSI/Head.ssi" -->".

So how can I use SSI in CGI generated pages?

Do the include in the script.

The server passes your CGI output directly out to the browser.  It doesn't
check it for more server-side stuff.  It should be a simple matter for your
CGI to do the including itself.
