text editors, but am revisiting the editor issue.
Using a simple text editor to create the page from ground up caused me
significant distraction, and often breaks my train of thought. Can
anyone recommend a simple HTML editor with valid HTML5 tag
insertion/auto complete macros so that I don't have to stop and look-up
the proper tag syntax every 10 seconds?
I don't mind doing that when touching up, or fixing validation errors,
but it is extremely distracting while doing my "rough drafts."
Re: simple HTML editor?
I too use a text editor, Wordpad. For a new page, I have a set of 10
template pages that I created from actual pages on my Web site. Each
template reflects a particular subdirectory of my main Web directory.
There are also some fragment templates.
