By an odd co-incidence, I just installed the latest version of Flash less
than 24 hours ago. I suppose I have to un-install that and go back to the
older version if I want to see their you-beaut flash webpage.

Presumably you don't! I just spent about 90s watching this site do it's
thing, and I still don't know what the site's about (I got to the main
page, but there's so much distracting stuff going on that a complete
failure to grok occured).
This is a superb example of what not to do with Flash.
Exactly. I think it's an attempt to take on Scientology.
Some Hanso gems.
"To understand where our world is going, we must first seek to understand
how the world was made"
- How deep!
"given enough time, there is no end to what human beings can accomplish, no
frontiers that we cannot cross, and no experience that we cannot live to
pass on to future generations" - meaningless tripe.
"To preach the limited mind is to forclose on the promise of our future" -
And the only picture on the net of this Alvar Hanso guy is this -
Notg as a matter of habit. I have watched it by accident, and I didn't
know what it was about. In fact I've watched it several times by
accident, and it seemed to be about the same thing every time.
Should I ever watch it again, that will also be an accident.

I still have no idea what the hell it's all about, and why it's

Yes, I get the same thing. I click on "click here" <sigh> and get an
almost empty screen. I have Flashblock installed.
So far: two pages, one condescending message, zero content. I suppose
they could work harder to drive away visitors.
