I want to have a page curl in the upper left corner of the page.

Anyone know what is the best way to do this?

I guess I could use a really large background with a small curl in the upper left.  But I think it might be better to somehow align a transparent PNG there.  With the transparent PNG technique, you could put the curl in any corner.

Next time, use Google for searching the Web instead of posting to Usenet.

When all you know is jQuery, every problem looks $(olvable).

More of a CSS question, but you can position a PNG/GIF/JPG of sufficient
size for your curl as a background image on the top-left of your page.
There's no need to make a background image large enough to cover the
entire page.

Something like:

body {
   background-image: url(images/Greybkgnd.png);
   background-repeat: no-repeat;

should work.
