I have a simple question. I'm now writing a interactive webpage, an
online calculator. The webpage is written in html and javascript, no
other languages and the webpage doesn't communicate with other
programs and works alone. My question is, if the webpage is visited,
and the whole page is downloaded by the client-side, will any
calculation on the online calculator use the server's cpu? If someone
run a huge calculation on the online calculator, will this crash the
server or just his own pc?

Thanks a lot.

Rest easy; if it's only html and javascript, the server is not involved
in the calcs.

Why would it? Javascript embedded in a web page runs in the browser, not
on the server.
