I'm currently developing a site which uses a link and a submit button
side by side for the 'Next' and 'Back' functionality, using the submit
for next and the link for back. Using CSS we have managed to style
these up so that they appear identical excpet for the text on them.
This works fine for all browser except Safari (and simialr Mac
browsers) which don't allow for the styling of submit buttons. The
constraints of the project mean that we have to use a submit button to
submit the data when the user hits 'next' and we have to use a simple
customer is insisting that we make these two objects appear identical,
so my options are to somehow find a way to style the submit button in
Safari (unlikely I know) or find a way to style my link to appear as a
Safari button. A 'technical' expert associated with my customer
assured me that this was easily done, but I haven't got a clue, anyone
got any ideas on how either of these can be done?
Oh, and the whole site needs to resize correctly so I can't simply use
images for the buttons.
