Usually CMS sites have their own database and store the files within the
framework of their own design.
Dreamweaver pages are usually stand-alone and not meant to be managed by
any sort of database or system.
You typically use one or the other. I've never seen both.
If you're looking for a combo of both, keep looking. Usually people who
develop sites with a CMS don't use Dreamweaver. They use an IDE like
Zend or take the photoshop files a designer has given them and apply it
to the CMS to render it.
If you just want to ensure that pages have version control, use git or
svn. But you won't get the dynamically generated content of a CMS.
