I want to upgrade my hard drive to a 7200 rpm one.
The ones I see advertised are serial an parallel drives.
The system I have came with a specified EIDE drive.
Would the serial and parallel drives be compatible?

BTW, HP support was not much help when contacted. They gave me a canned
answer which didn't answer the question.
