hello

i want to make a viewer like ArcGIS,Eradas.In which i can open
setalite images and georefrence the image etc.

can any one tell me how i make this type of viewer.
i have knowledge of C,C++,Java.

plz give me valuable sugestion

First you need to make up your mind. You want "own image file format"
and then you want GIS viewer? Which one is you're looking for? :D

For image format it's not really point to make format of your own. There
exists tons of free libs to handle many formats widely used.

For a viewer easiest way is to really use some open source alternative.
There exists many for that purpose. And if you want to go web way, same
applies.

Very valuable suggestions. If you want to learn something thats good
about open source - download sources and study them, modify them etc.
You don't need to create your own.
