I am brand new to computer-world but recently had new equipment
professionally installed, which includes a DVD re-write (and copy, I guess)
facility. I just tried to copy a navigational dvd but it didn't work. Sonic
said there was a error. Microsoft doesn't help. This process is not
intuitive. For heaven's sake, you can't even read the labels on the PC where
the two in-out slots are for the origininal and the copy-to discs! Anyway, I
need help, and I can't seem to figure out Microsoft's attempt to provide it.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you sure the 'navigational dvd' is not copy protected?

If the disc is not copy protected, then any of a number of programs should
copy it including Roxio, 1ClickDVDCopy, InterVideo DVDCopy, etc. If it is
copy protected, you can try the AnyDVD (www.slysoft.com) program to bypass
the copy protection and still use the same programs.

Both 1ClickDVDCopy and AnyDVD offer trial copies so you can try to make the
copy before spending bucks for software that may not work.
