I'm interested in making usb2lpt adapter because my new computer doesn't
have parallel port. I have an old printer with lpt port. I know that
commercial usb2lpt adapters are relatively cheap, but my old printer is
practically worthless, so I don't  want to spend any money on it. Does
anyone know how to build usb2lpt adapter? I can't find any manual or wiring
scheme on the internet.

Thanks for any help! :)

It would take many hours to design and fabricate it, not
worthwhile because they can be bought for around $10 USD.

I bought a pci parallel port card on ebay for a similar
situation...cost me a fiver.
