- SATA drivers on floppy?

rate this thread
with a SATA drive and am running into a big problem: I don't know about
getting the drivers I need to put on a floppy to complete the installation.
The motherboard is an EPoX 8KMM3I-X. The drivers disc has RAID drivers for
putting on a floppy and I've done this, but it doesn't say anything about
SATA. Are RAID drivers the same thing? I cannot find anything helpful at the
EPoX site. I've also looked on the VIA site as this motherboard uses a VIA
chipset, but nothing there helps me either. I'll be installing WinXP Home on
a Maxtor 80GB SATA drive. The Maxtor site just tells me the SATA drivers
have to come from the motherboard manufacturer.
Everything's put together, all set to go as soon as I get this pesky drivers
on floppy thing solved. Any help greatly appreciated.
