If so, it doesn't matter. The PCI buses maximum thoughput is 133. No
SATA controller card is going to give you 150 if it's on the bus. A
waste of money.
True SATA 2 controllers on the motherboard do support SATA 1. And, I
suggest you only go with SATA 1.
SATA 2 is a server technology that only works well in that
environment. For a home system, SATA 2's overhead will hurt your
performance, not help it.
