- Is USB 1.1 fast enough for Bluetooth V2.0

My USB Bluetooth dongle is USB 1.1. Bluetooth V2.0.
(Range is 10m = class 2.)
However the USB spec has reached version 2 several years ago.
Would my USB 1.1 dongle be fast enough not to impede the max speed of
data which Bluetooth V2.0 can deliver?
I'll be using a Nokia phone as my first Bluetooth device.
Then I'll be adding more devices later.

Re: Is USB 1.1 fast enough for Bluetooth V2.0
Yes, but bear in mind that the 3 Mbps of Bluetooth 2.0 is the *maximum*
speed. It uses the same 2.4 GHz frequency band as DECT cordless phones,
wifi, and microwave ovens, so having any of them nearby will slow it down
even without things like interference getting in the way. If you're not
familiar with using Bluetooth, bear in mind that it isn't particularly fast.
It's OK for transferring a few files or audio such as headsets, but if you
want to transfer loads of files a data cable might be a better choice. What
do you have in mind?
