I am trying to work out if I can save a slot in my Shuttle by using a
combined Graphics and TV Card in the AGP Slot.
I don't use TV from the aerial, but from a cable TV decoder box. (The TV
service that I use is a telephone wire based service called Homechoice.
You get fast ADSL broadband and cable TV in a bundle).
I currently use a low end Hauppauge TV card which allows me to watch
cable TV on the PC, however the picture quality is not particularly good.
So I thought that perhaps I can use one a ViVo enabled graphics card for
recieving the cable input..? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick..?
If so, would you be able to suggest what combinde cable TV/Graphics
Card could be good for me? Ideally it should be of a better spec than my
current graphics card NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
Any advice gratefully recieved - many thanks!
