kept on getting "delayed write errors". The drive would seemingly disappear
from Windows from time to time and I'd have to turn it off and then back on
again. This has happened with a number of drives I've bought (all Seagate
Barricudas). Now the data on the drive has become corrupted and unreadable.
If I try to start it in the caddy it won't start up. So I've connected it
internally (IDE) and the drive appears in My Computer but no size or amount
of data is displayed. I've tried running "Get data back" for NTFS, but it
gets stuck at 69% and goes on forever, never progressing. Chkdsk gets stuck
at 8%. How can I recover data from this drive? Any ideas?
