Assuming you do not have a hardware failure, open up your CMOS settings
and look for one that is incorrect for your hardware. It might be a Com
port, floppy drive, or just about any thing. Often changing the
settings to setup defaults will solve such a problem, but make sure you
know what you need set so that you can change those items after assuming
the default settings.
