I have recently being getting BSoDs when WinXP is up and running. It seems
to occur intermittently especially during Internet activity.
The BSoD error message only appears for a few seconds before the machine
reboots itself. So that I can analyze the fault, is this error message
saved somewhere on my hard disk?

uncheck "Automatically Restart" and then the error message will stay
around long enough for you to read it. And make sure that the system is
set to "Write and event to the system log" while you are at it. As for
the memory dump selection in that same window, it is a waste of time for
99.9% of users so you might as well select either "none" or at least
choose the "small dump" option to prevent wasting disk space.
