rate this thread
power supply unit.
The AS8 manual says "The Switching Power Supply must meet ATX 2.03
specification with ATX12V and AUX Power connectors."
I'm considering using a new Antec TruePower 2.0 power supply
(http://www.antec.com/us/pro_p_TPII.html ), but it is only rated as
ATX 2.01. Can I use it anyway?
Thanks in advance,

Re: ATX 2.01 PSU ok when ATX 2.03 required?
Remember that ATX2.03 certified PSU:s no longer need to have the 6pin AUX
power connection. That is needed by some early P4 i850 motherboards for
supplying enough power to AGP slot.
Antec TruePower 2.0 doesn't have that connector as far as I can see from the
Truepower 1.0 line of PSUs do have that connector.
