I connected a USB flask drive to the front port of the computer and it
locked it up tight. Had to use the power button to shut down. After that all
video signal was gone & the computer wouldn't boot. No bios info is visable
at boot at all. Has anyone seen this before? It is not the first time it
happened to me.

Never use a "flask" drive on a computer, the alcohol is extremely damaging

I've had that happen when I used an ECS motherboard,
they are very prone to static.

Be sure to ground yourself prior to plugging  in any USB device...

you may have to reset your bios to get the machine to boot

Of course.  Flask drives are used to inject rye, Scotch, Bourbon,
etc. into the innocent computer, and a sufficient quantity always
get the machine tight.  It is far too confused to even find its
boots.  :-)

Unplug AC power and clear CMOS on the motherboard.  If that
doesn't work, unplug power again and pull the coin cell
battery for 10 minutes.  If it still won't run the
motherboard is probably damaged and will need replaced.
