Simian chimps out on slot machine player in North Las Vegas

North Las Vegas Police are asking for the public?s help in identifying a  
suspect who brutally attacked a man who was playing a slot machine at a  
convenience store.

Police say the suspect assaulted a 46-year-old man early in the  
afternoon of May 18 at the store in the 3000 block of North Las Vegas  
Boulevard. The suspect punched the man in the head until he fell to the  
floor, then kicked him in the head multiple times before fleeing on  
foot, police said.

The victim suffered a serious head injury, police said.

The suspect is described as black, about 30 years old, medium height and  
build and last seen wearing a black T-shirt and jeans.

Police said the suspect?s motive was unknown.
