Sempron 64 2500+ 64-bit ?

Can anyone please confirm (or refute) that the Sempron 64 2500+ CPU
released relatively recently is indeed a full-fledged 64-bit processor

I know about the 32-bit Socket A and S754 Semprons. But I believe this
one is a true 64-bit proccy with 128KB cache, 90nm Palermo core with
SSE3 clocked at 1.4GHz. I can't find any mention of it on the AMD
website. A search for "Sempron 64" on their site returned "Search
Forbidden" in giant black letters.

There seems to be no doubt that AMD now makes 64-bit Semprons in S754
and Tom's Hardware lists them, but then goes on to say :
"Sempron 64 users (3400+ only) can install Windows XP x64 edition".

The part that confuses me here is the qualifying "3400+ ONLY"
statement, and the lack of info at AMD.
