Did you power cycle the modem and router? Sorry this seems
like the same generic reply an ISP would make, but you
haven't given us much to go on, like exactly what symptoms
of failure you see. For example after you leave the router
unplugged for a few dozen minutes and then power on, can any
client systems access it's configuration webpage?
