The shape of the PSU casing was different around the Pentium
2 era, but AFAIK they went standard after that, except
perhaps in SFF systems but everyone may go with a
proprietary shape PSU for that if the dimensions of a mATX
PSU didn't happen to work well. Electrtically speaking (the
pinout for the mobo connector) wasn't proprietary back as
far as early ATX/Pentium I, but so far as 486 goes, I only
vaguely remember that the further back you go but I think
their AT were standard pinout too.
