have a computer here that would randomly shutdown for overheating issues.
Have replaced the processor and still it has shutdown. I have replaced the
mobo and still shuts down. Is it safe to say that the power supply is the
reason for it shutting down?

No it's safe to say it's running too hot.  Replace the
heatsink and/or improve chassis cooling.  If the room
ambient temp is very high you may need to lower that too.

You didn't even mention the system though, what were you
thinking, that we have a spycam installed next to it?
