allow fans to shut down in power management. PS2 will. Dell PIV 865 chipset.
So far I am understanding that PS2 runs on +5 volts VSB and USB runs on +5
volts. The Dell Foxconn MOBO does not have a jumper for the USB header. When
I disable the USB keyboard from the ability to wake the 'puter from sleep
the fans will sleep. I have used DUMPPO.exe and have confirmed it has
changed "minsleep" to "S3". Still the fans run. With PS2 I can allow the
keyboard the ability to wake the 'puter from sleep and the fans sleep. Am I
stuck with no options? It seems two USB ports should be wired to the VSB
rail just for powermanagement's sake.
