There are some fairly wide mATX boards and some fairly
narrow full ATX cases, so in these combinations it's
possible the right-edge of the board would block a lower 5
1/2 " drive bay or two. I don't recall the exact
measurements but roughly speaking in a standard ATX case
configuration you'd want a case about 17" deep, not much
shallower than that.
The bottom left mounting stud on a mATX board is often an
unused position in a full ATX case (if it had studs in it
from a previous full ATX board already) so you may need to
move that mounting stud. That will be obvious enough when
the time comes.
