Does it do what you need it to (you never told us what it is you are using
the computer for so I'm guessing)? If it does the job, then it is a good
combination.

No thanks.  Not interested in bouncing between threads, especially when no
such poll has any effectiveness in Usenet and is only implemented in
Microsoft's webnews-for-DUMMIES interface to Usenet.

What is Usenet:
  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet
  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newsgroups
  http://www.masonicinfo.com/newsgroups.htm
  http://www.mcfedries.com/Ramblings/usenet-primer.asp

When using a webnews-for-dummies interface, like Microsoft's Communities or
Google Groups or a forum-to-Usenet proxy, those are gateways to Usenet.
Despite the appearance of a forum, you are still participating in a
newsgroup (Usenet).

Define here just what is "works good", and use better English along with
details for that definition.

What is this combination now not affording you that you think you need a
different video card?  What's broke?  What can't you do?

What will these newer versions of Windows give you that you can't do now
with your unidentified older version of Windows?  A Google search will
probably find articles describing benchmarks on these operatings systems on
the SAME hardware (to make the benchmarking usable).

This is usenet, why would we go vote and see results of such
an invalid poll?  Opinion isn't the same as fact, polls are
seldom of much use, especially when conducted on a website
that leeches usenet content instead of having enough content
on it's own to not do that.

The correct answer is neither is better, it all depends on
the specific products bought from each company.

That should work fine, do not buy a video card to have a
different GPU brand buy a new video card of either brand if
you need more performance or features, regardless of which
party made your motherboard chipset.

No, but if you are using a 32bit OS, moving to a 64bit OS
would allow you to use more of your memory.  If you need a
newer version of DirectX than version 9, moving to Vista or
Win7 will allow for that.  Keep in mind that all else being
equal, Win7 or especially Vista will require more memory to
get the same work (or play) done, and neither has a
significant impact on video and gaming performance relative
to other factors.

Basically, enjoy what you have and only make changes when
you have a specific need to.

Kony, if you check the originating web site, he can't see
your answer :-( My guess is, it is because he set up a "poll",
that responses to his question aren't showing up.
