Hi, i have to connect 3 pc (2 client connected to 1 server). Which is the
better way to do that... an hub or a switch?
I will have a decay in ping terms using hub/switch?

Will either have a lot of throughput?
With only 2 clients, the difference may never be seen, but
in theory the switch is better.

Usually no, there is no intermediary between these two, so
only if one was heavily using the lan would there be any
latency, and in that case, the switch would be faster.  In
typical uses, it wouldn't matter- if you already had the hub
I'd suggest you go ahead and try it, but if you had nothing
yet, to buy the switch.

Get the Linksys BEFSR41 NAT router.

It comes with 4 switches and has an expansion port. It supports NAT
which is essential for connecting to the Internet.

It's as cheap as many 100-BASE-TX 4-port hubs.
