I just lot a Hitachi Deskstar 160GB,
It spins up, and then the arm just klicks (or is it the head banging
the disk surface?)
After the SATA timeout periode, drive isnt detected - and it keeps on
Are there any ways to get in touch with the drive, just for 30
minutes, to copy a few GB's of very important data off from it?
Re: Hitachi Deathstar - any savings?
quickly hook it and see if you can take the info off...
because after that it will definitely not work again
