I just upgraded 90% of my computer to the newest stuff on the market. I did
keep my old raptors 75gig each in raid( there about 3 years old). I was
wondering if these will be fast enough or should I up grade to sata 3gb/s
hard drives. Will I see a great improvement. I'm going to run Vista and it
will be a gaming machine

Re: hard drive

I am running a duel boot xp/vista right now. I added the news server to my
list thank you. I was wondering about the hard drive. They work great but if
I would have seen real world performance difference in the sata 3gig I would
have upgraded

Once again, WD Raptors are a great choice on which to install the OS.

"If high capacities are relatively unimportant and money is no object, it
is the Raptor WD1500, not a 15,000 RPM SCSI unit, that is the drive to get
for single-user setups."
