rate this thread
its an 8ms , 1280
1024 resolution , and tested every refresh rate but
that does'n't solves the
problem. It is linked to an fx5200 128mb
that is sitting in an amd athlon xp
2200+(1.79Ghz) , I have also
tested it on a fx6200 and a fx5700 , same problem
also on a pentium 4
2.5Ghz , also same problem. It is really serious , and the
the problem everything is right with the panel. I have heard you
to change it to 125Hz , but that doesn't solves the problem .
Re: ghosting with the lcd ,19", philips190s6gs, 8ms
I'm not familiar with this type. But in general:
Operate it in it's native resolution only. That's 1280 x 1024.
Refresh rate doesn't matter.
If the unit doesn't do it automatically: use Autosense.
(Use Autosense with a steady picture; e.g. your desktop.)
If Autosense does not provide the right picture, try to adjust
For ghosting you likely need to adjust the 'phase' setting;
possibly in combination with 'clock'.
One other (and major) source for ghosting is the VGA cable.
Inspect it; make sure it is well seated and not damaged.
And if all fails: look up your warranty :-)
