Does such a thing exist?

Similar to this but rather than just finding the DVD it has a built in
DVD reader that inserts it and shows in windows?

Would be dead handy.

Sony did one a while back but they discontinued it, it could hold
hundreds of DVD's and play them at a press of a button. But you have to
remember the number of each DVD (slot number) which is very annoying.
visit the link below to see a similiar one. Is it what you're looking

You are willing to pay how much?,,2076_310070067_38126_tab=B,00.html?compName=PNA_V3_ProductDetailsComponent

That link probably wrapped badly but you should be able to straighten it
out with a bit of work.

The need to work with Windoze is probably the killer in any such
product. Multi-CD/DVD players are not uncommon. One which I like is,,2076_310069743_33953,00.html

which probably also has a bad link wrap.

PC Mall has something called the Stakka.
Each unit stores, protects and retrieves up to 100 of your favorite
12cm discs, including data CDs, DVDs, music and game discs. The reader
functionality that you were looking for may or may not be covered by
the software that comes with it.

"Use the powerful OpdiTracker Disc Management Software to capture disc
content, automatically recognizing whenever you insert a new data disc
into your computer's CD or DVD drive.
=B7Search OpdiTracker's database of stored discs by title, keyword,
directory or file name to find and eject any disc within seconds.
=B7The intuitive OpdiTracker software is so simple to use you will be
storing and retrieving discs in no time."

It's $134.99, holds 100 discs, and comes with software and a USB cable.
