- Difference in memory speeds and type

computer to get some answers quick. Iím putting together a new
computer for the first time, and I have everything except the memory.
being a resident in brazil,( specifically the capitol, brasilia),
having access to the new DDR2 667 1 gig sticks is seriously
difficult. Iíve found DDR2 533 1 gig sticks, but I have some
the motherboard I purchased, the P4 MSI diamond, has on the box the
"up to 4 DIMM DDR2 667 1 gig memory...."
1)will a 533 stick be compatible?
2)will a DDR stick?
3) if either are true, is the speed difference huge?

i think 533 is one of those odd clock speeds that intel chips run the ram
at, ie, old rdram, incompatible, icbw.
most likely, if the tabs are in the same spots, but i haven't checked ddr2
just run the fast stick at the same speed as the slow one to prevent
