I've bought PIII 533 in order to replace celeron 300. My motherboard is:
and it can manage with PIII. The model is 6BB / 6BB v1.0 and on
http://www.soyousa.com/kb/kbdesc.php?id=15 is written that it supports this
When I turn on my computer I only hear a beep from the speaker... Whats
wrong? CPU is inserted in slot correct, memory are sticking correct in slots
too... Any hints?

I have the same mobo, and according to Soyo, it does NOT support the
It seems that you'll need a slocket that provides PIII support, but I
don't know if the BIOS will also have to be modifiedl. You may want to
search for how owners of the 6BA (almost the same as the 6BB but a lot
more popular) have used faster CPUs with their mobos.
