Just spent the weekend mucking about with my sons ATI X700 XT VIVO card,
wondering why it displays perfectly on his 14" portable but on the main TV
32" Thompson the image was so blurred you could not possibly watch it. The
portable connected through a scart to SVHS mini DIN adaptor picture fairly
good, The main TV has SVHS in which works fine with his camcorder, turns out
the signal is actually composite, so switched it to the RCA phono input
which did improve the picture by 50%, I could not understand it so I tried
the scart adaptor but still the same, for 2 hours I played with this solid.
Then I realised the main TV is 100Hz which when you turn this off it's OK
but many 100Hz TV's don't let you turn this feature off.
