My brother wants to upgrade his RAM but I have
out of his PC and I cannot tell what type of RAM is it. It says
on it. I know that it is 128mb but that is all.
Basically i need to know how
to identify RAM. Is it DDR SDRAM etc?
I would appreciate any input
on this subject

You don't necessarily need to know what it is, you need to
know what the system supports.
It would be helpful to mention the specifcs of it, like the
CPU, motherboard make and model, and hopefully the chipset
If pictures of various formats might help, you can find some
with Google. For example,
though the pictures found may not correspond with the search
terms, you'll have to follow the links on Google to verify
that's what it is.
