a 19" LCD but.....
I don't play games and I don't watch DVD movies on my PC so is there any
advantage or benefit to spending a bit extra and getting a 19" widescreen
monitor or am I just as well sticking to the "traditional" 19" 4:3 type
Re: 19" widescreen or "normal" monitor?
One disadvantage might be that 19" is not the same for traditional and
widescreen given the 19 inches are measured diagonally.
This means a 19" widescreen monitor will actually be smaller
vertically that a traditional format monitor of 19"... Only really a
problem I guess if you expected a taller monitor...
One advantage is when cutting & pasting and swapping between two open
applications.. (EG web browser and word processor).. it is so much
easier as they can exist more easily side by side on widescreen.
