- 521Mb CF card "access denied" on ipaq 3630.

I have a Ipaq 3630/WinCE 2002 with a battery/pcmcia expansion
sleeve containing a 512Mb CF card fitted into a cf to pcmcia adapter.
The ipaq detects the card and asks if it should be formatted so the
system can use it. The card is formatted with vfat (32) and contains
the Bootblaster and bootopie files which were put there using a laptop.
File Explorer shows a blank storage card and attemping to create a
folder returns "Cannot create folder, access is denied. Make sure
the disk is not full or write protected." System Settings also reveals
that the storage card has 0 Mb "Total" and "In Use" space.
A google search found that 512Mb cards work with the H3630 but little
in the way of how others with this "access" error solve the problem.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I eventually got a serial cable and installed Familiar Linux (14Mb) on
the Ipaq Pda. Familiar has no problems reading and writing to the 512Mb
CF card so I guess that the access problem when using PocketPC operating
system on the ipaq is a kernel issue.
