Is there any good reason, why WM6 still not sync with public contacts???

Nokia is syncing the Contacts what you want to, why is it so hard for MS?

Ok, I found the 3rd parties, BUT why I have to pay hundreds or thousands of
USD for it?

any advice out there?

I feel your pain.
It's a drag. WM6 has improved greatly with the whole access to GAL and
searching of email that isn't synched on the device.

Perhaps the decision to deemphasise public folders in Exchange 2007
has led to a decision not to do anything with PFs on Mobile 6.

That makes sense in the sense that it's joined up decision making from
Microsoft. I'm just not convinced that they're that well joined up so
there's probably another reason.

Thanks Mark. At least I'm not alone feeling the pain... :)

I beleive GAL is QUITE different the Public Contacts. Moreover searching GAL
producing wireless charge all the time, since not synced onto the
mobilephone. False direction in my opinion.

Also, it is a fake advertisement from MS, if from now on, you dont need to
buy any middleware, just the Exchange and a WM6 capable mobilephone... for
corporate using (even a very small, 2-3 people usage of mobiles) you must
byz middlewares for syncing Contacts... and again in my mind: how the Nokia
and Sonyericsson could do this sync, and not the MS by own?

Isn't there someone out, who has a knowledge, to edit the registry, or some
other trick, to change the path of the syncing from the default Contact to
other? PLEASE.

You can sync contacts without any third party software at all, so it's a
true statement.

Not that I know of, and I do agree that this is a pain.
