Hi
I get a corrupt georeferenced Tiff image everytime I georefere in the
ArcInfo v.9.2. In some cases about half of the georefered image is
black and no data are showing !!
Here are the steps I follow for georeferencing :
1- open an empty and new project
2- set the coordinate system for the Layers
3- Tools > options > Raster > check the "use world file to define the
coordinates of the raster"
4- Tools > options > Data Interoperability > setting "Cache Size" to
1.8 GB
3- add my tiff image (about 300Mb)
4- add control points at the four corners of the image
5- edit the control points in the View Link Table editor for more
precision
6- Update georeferencing
7- Rectify and save the output
To see the refered image I open a new project and define the same
coordinate system as before and then I add the georefered image. Here
I see that the location is correct. But half of the georefered Tiff
image is corrupt and noisy !!
Anybody have some suggestions ??
thanks
