Is there any way to find what city a latitude and longitude is in? Or
a relatively close approximation? I have a file of cities and their
center points, but that only helps so much, because i don't really know
how large the city is and how much area it covers.

i would like to be able to categorize points into cities.

 Hi,
You will go googleearth.com and find out your city and get the lat/long
values i think it is best way.

have you ever integrated this into a program? I want to find the city or
zip code by the current lat/long.

thanks. I have the lat/lon values, i need to find the city that it is
closest to.
