Hi All

I have 2 vista ultimate machines running at home.

both have tv cards etc. Both work fine. I want to knwo how i can share media
between them, such as recorded tv. Basically set up 1 as an extender to the
other. How do i do it ?

They can see each other in network

Please log in for more thread options
You can't. The only thing you can do is share the Recorded TV folder on each
machine, then add that share to the Video Library.

it would be a nice feature to have, maybe in a later life. i can see it being
very useful to stream tv, especially where there is no antenna point in the
room.

was laso thinking it would be good with vista on a laptop, could have tv in
any room of the house, great for when the kids are sick

It is an often requested feature, a "software" extender, but so far, no joy.
